DIY Water Hack 💦
It’s summertime & it’s 🔥 outside (FINALLY, praise Jesus🙌🏽) Of course this means more fun in the sun ☀️ but it also means we need to up our water intake.
While I love water as much as the next beautiful soul, sometimes I’m wanting something else👀. Putting essential oils in anything but glass, stainless steel or medical grade plastic (that ish is expensive and honestly who has time for that?) is a no-no.
BPA free or not, it releases synthetic chemicals from the plastic and isn’t that what we’re trying to get away from… all the synthetic materials/substances and all that nonsense? I know I am🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️.
I found this cute little glass bottle at Target today for $3. Normally I recycle our empty Ningxia Red bottles and do this, but in my last purge, we recycled a bunch so a quick trip to 🎯 took care of that. (Like I really need an excuse to go there anyways😂🤷🏽♀️😂)
Today I reached for the peppermint. 1-2 drops is all it takes and in this instance it’s not only sprucing up my water but it’s great for supporting my digestion, an instant picker upper (better than an energy drink if you catch my drift) and honestly all the things. (Google the amazing benefits of Young Living Peppermint oil and you’ll be like 😳)
This is just one of my many favorites(sadly I couldn’t nearly fit them all into one pic though🤦🏽♀️😂)
Curious as to why there’s a vitality line (white labels) versus not? Same oil different bottles due to FDA compliancy… per the FDA you must have a label that shows your product is safe for ingestion… hence the vitality (white label) line.
What’s your favorite Young Living Essential Oil to spruce up your water?
PS- if the essential oils you’re using aren’t able to be ingested they’re not 100% all natural like the Seed to Seal guarantee with Young Living. Young Living is the only essential oils I would ingest personally but if you’re looking for another reason to switch to YL.. it’s a great place to start.
