It’s been deemed the Swiss Army knife of essential oils because it’s amazing for just about everything🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
🤓Facts first: Young Living has three farms that grow lavender, located in Utah, Idaho, and France.
Lavender is steam distilled from the owering tops of the plant, and it takes 27 square feet of lavender plants to make one 15-ml bottle of Lavender essential oil.
In ancient Greece, Pedanius Dioscorides, a physician pharmacologist and botanist, praised the many qualities and uses of lavender.
You can find Lavender essential oil in many Young Living blends, including Stress AwayTM, TranquilTM, RutaVaLaTM, ForgivenessTM, and HarmonyTM.
🌿 Sleep Support- I go through a bottle a month… mostly because it’s one of my diffusing go-tos. Pair this bad boy with Valerian (now that it’s back in stock) & I’m 💤💤💤 for that night.
🌿 Seasonal Support- with all the changes in the weather 10-20 drops Lavender, Lemon and Peppermint each (depending on severity) in a 10ml roller bottle topped with carrier oil and roll away those changes🙌🏽
🌿 Skin Support- Lavender has calming priories which make it perfect for a Face Serum. I pair Lavender, Frankincense, Lemon, Patchouli, & Copaiba with my V6 oil and it packs a punch to under my eyes and my What in the World lines on my forehead.
🌿 Linen Spray- this is one of my favorites to whip up and spray on our sheets, our furbabies beds, anywhere in the house.
🌿 Calming the fur babies- during storms or even just around bedtime. I drop 1 drop in my hand and pump 1 good pump of v6 oil and rub it behind their ears (not in them.. that’s a no no) and it helps soothe them as it does me.
🌿 Too much sun exposure- lavender cooling spray to the rescue. 5 drops peppermint. 5 drops lavender. In a 2 oz glass spray bottle. Add pinch of salt. Fill halfway up will distilled water and the other half with alcohol free witch hazel and shake. And you’re good to go.
💡There are so many uses but these are a few of my favorite🙌🏽🙌🏽
