Good Morning.

Mornings.

It took me years & I do mean literal years to become a morning person. I used to loathe mornings with every breathe I take. Self-proclaimed night owl, that lived for staying up, not missing a thing. Back in March, there was a shift. While I can’t quite put my finger on what changed, but it did.

By 7-7:30 am at the latest every day I’m up, whether I have to work or have an off day. I still cringe at the idea of getting up around 5am but I still have more I want to fit into my day so I am working on that. They are so peaceful. The sun is rising. The birds are chirping. I can get out in the garden before it’s too hot or muggy. I can make a cup of coffee or two and curl up with a good book. I don’t have to do that whole morning “rush” thing anymore it’s pretty liberating honestly. It would have taken so much stress & anxiety off my shoulders in years past by getting my move on just a little earlier.

Being intentional with my mornings just as I have with the rest of my day the past couple years has made all the difference.

How do you like to spend your mornings to set you up for a successful day?
