Reflection.

This past year was spent largely doing some soul searching, making some changes & tons of intentional living. Starting the 2017 new year off in Orlando definitely took the cake for one of the best New Years ever. Shenanigans in Nashville, NYC, Chicago & Vegas all made the cut. From Aladdin to Hamilton, Rock on the Range to Backstreet Boys, John Legend to Louder Than Life and everything in between.

Walking alongside fellow resisters at the Women’s March in Lexington left a profound impact on me. I can say I’m definitely looking forward to doing what I can to improve our communities and ultimately work our way out from there.

My heart became forever changed with the adoption of our two furbabies. I had the opportunity to say yes to getting engaged to my best friend/love of my life. In the midst of it all, I finished my undergrad in marketing &&& started working towards other career goals.

After years of trying to find the time to join JLLEX, I finally found myself in the position to be able to do so. I’ve met some of the most amazing souls through this organization and I can’t wait to kick 2018 off alongside them while building each other up and serving the community.

This year was not without its uh oh &&& aha moments but overall it’s been one of the best years of my life. May 2018 be filled more concerts, mini vacations, experiences & good energy than the last. More importantly may it be continued to be lived intentionally and to be present in every moment without living too much in the future or looking back too much on the past.
